Louis A. Creasia, 77,

Louis A. Creasia, 77, of Bellingham, passed away at his home peacefully on April 17, 2026. He was born in Whitinsville, MA. The son of the late Nicholas and Theresa (Meroli) Creasia.  He grew up in Mendon before residing in Bellingham in 1976.  Louis was a Vietnam Era Veteran who proudly served his country as a member of the U.S. Army’s 82nd Airborne Division.  He spent 35 years as a mechanic for Stop & Shop, known for his strong work ethic and dedication.  He was also a member of the American Legion in Franklin.

He enjoyed traveling, camping, fishing and cooking, but most of all cherished the time he spent with his family.  He was the loving husband of 54 years to Karen E. (Straight) Creasia, and the devoted father of Cindy (Creasia) Bisset of Bellingham, and Jennifer (Creasia) Chiappone and her husband Chad Chiappone of Blackstone and Louis Creasia of Worcester. He was a proud “Papa” to Matthew Bisset, Nathan Bisset, Jonathan Bisset, Caden Chiappone, Brynlee Chiappone, and Katlyn Kieler. He is survived by his siblings, Theresa Twist of Franklin, James Creasia of Bellingham, and Francis Creasia of Bellingham, as well as many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his siblings, John Creasia, Joseph Creasia, Nicholas Creasia, Matthew Creasia, Eleanor Hurd, Elvira Cassinelli, Mary Bracio, and Jacqueline Lomuscio.

The funeral will be held on Friday, April 24, 2026 at 9:00am from the Consigli-Ruggerio Funeral Home, 46 Water Street, Milford.  A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:00am at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 5 East Main Street, Milford.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, April 23, 2026 from 4:00-7:00 pm. The burial will be at the convenience of the family. 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Louis’s name to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute or to a charity of your choice.

To my 2nd dad Lou…You will be greatly missed. Thank you for all the good times we had in Florida at Sundance and listening and laughing at all my silly stories. I miss seeing you and Karen tremendously. We will always have “Tom Brady”…Love you always and forever.
